Classes for Children and Young People with Additional Needs

Inclusive, fun, and creative dance and movement classes for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities* who love to move and express themselves.

Classes are carefully designed to play to each person’s strengths and allow them to progress on their own terms and in a way that is meaningful for them. We use themes and ideas which everyone already has an understanding of and explore these using different games, activities and props to support everyone to use their own ideas and imaginations.

Classes will help participants by developing their transferable skills, such as creative, physical, communication and social skills while boosting confidence and self-esteem. We believe that this will then impact on an individual’s functioning, wider learning and health.

* No diagnosis is necessary and the classes are open to those with any learning or physical disability, sensory, behavioural, emotional or social challenges. Siblings are welcome to attend too.

Cost – £3.50 per child, £5.00 for two children (siblings are welcome to attend)

Due to some Covid guidelines still being in place, all spaces must be booked in advance and are limited.
